Downspout Elbows, Choose A or B

Select the right elbow for your spouting runs

Spouting and gutter elbows are usually attached to your gutter's outlets and then to your downspout both at the top and the bottom leading to your splash gaurd.

Elbows are available in the same material as your gutter. Galvanized, aluminum and copper are most prevalent. Different angles are available for your spout to match your needed degrees of angle desired. Different sizes are available to match your gutters along with round, square and corrugated styles. Basic elbows are usually called A or B styles. "A" elbows create a bend straight towards you and are broader in appearance. "B" elbows turn a downspout in either direction if you are facing your downspout and are flatter in appearance. There are machines available for creating customized elbows for your spouting needs.

Attaching your gutter elbows to your downspouts is typically done with zip screws, pop rivets or possibly solder depending your your materials.
