How much material will you need?

In roofing terms 1 square means 100 square feet. This form of measurement is standard in the industry for many types of materials. When ordering or buying material, be aware of how much coverage you'll need. Below are some coverage totals for different types of roofing supplies.

1 Roll mineral surface roofing	36 ft. X 36 in. = 1 square or 108 square ft.
1 Roll Roofing base sheet	78 ft. X 36 in. = 234 square ft.
1 Roll #15 standard felt paper	144 ft. X 36 in. = 432 square ft.
1 Roll #30 Standard felt paper	72 ft. X 36 in. = 216 square ft.
3 bundles of standard shingles	1 square coverage or 100 square feet.
